Abstract
I am obliged to get an opportunity to place my point of view and discuss on the Christian worldview. The discussion is addressed through the Biblical, Historical and Contemporary support. This assignment has helped me in exploring my knowledge regarding Christianity as well as Hinduism. Being a Hindu, I was unaware about several facts followed in Hinduism. The following discussion has helped me to gather the knowledge and apply it in the reflection of my own thought. The singularism and dualism concept of God can be easily identified when the two religions are compares. Both have their own values and teachings, which identify the cultural enhancement in the community. An elaborate discussion will help us to understand the concepts in a better way.
Christian Worldview
The Christian worldview is the belief that the Almighty is one, who is known as the God and who rules the world. It includes the biblical reference of the God being the only good power existing in the world and the opposite is termed as the evil. There is no dualism in the theory as the existence of one God is believed and worshipped by all. The elements, which build the Christian worldview, are the morals, existence and the knowledge possessed by humans.
It provides a path for ethical thinking and believes the creation of humans through God with love, hope and morality. The main truth lies in Jesus Christ who is above all and father of the existing population. The belief in one God and resu
ection is the main idea of Christian worldview. These beliefs are important as they lead to the actions taken by the Christians in their daily life. In this assignment, I will include the Biblical, Historical and Contemporary support to discuss my point of view.
To consider the topic effectively, I will reflect upon my ethnicity and analyse the differences, which lies against the Christian viewpoint. Being a Hindu, we believe in the existence of several God and idol worshipping, which leads to the conflict in cultural beliefs among the population. This dualism gives rise to several differences in the ethical beliefs and leads to an argument in the community.
The concept will be further discussed below addressing the Biblical, Historical and contemporary support of the Christian Worldview. Several ideas and theories will be addressed, which has made it easier for me to reflect on the ideas of World View. Belonging to the Hindu Community, there is a huge difference in the spiritual and moral values between the Christians and us. This can be properly discussed considering each aspect of the views.
The Biblical Support
Through the biblical support, it can be understood that the creator of the world is one and only God who is controlling each aspect of the world. The growth of human in nature from a child to adolescent is supported by the God[footnoteRef:1]. Without the support of the Bible, the world cannot be a place to survive, as it is being unchangeable regarding several aspects. The only unchanging power is God who controls the world and has all the knowledge about it. [1: Appleton, J. E. (2020). A Mixed Methods Study Concerning Biblical Worldview Formation in Children and Adolescents through Informal Learning by Parents and/or Guardians]
The important aspects of the Biblical support of Christian worldview are the humanity, God, Christ and Restoration. The spiritual values can be inculcated within the children from the school level, following the Biblical support of the Christian worldview[footnoteRef:2]. It teaches the complete immersion of oneself to God for attaining peace and health. According to the biblical support, God teaches us to forgive, love and have faith on other humans as well as animals. [2: Savarirajan, D., & Fong, S. (2019). Bridging Bible and Biology: The Impact of Faith Integration on the Spiritual Growth of Students in Christian Higher Education. Journal of Instructional Research, 8(1), 5-16]
The Christians believe in the resu
ection of the soul within the body of the dead and hence avoids the process of incarnation[footnoteRef:3]. This shows their biblical support regarding the re-occu
ence, which they had experienced through Jesus. There is no concept of the immortal soul in the Biblical reference. This shows a great difference of the Christian worldview from the Hindus. The bible is composed of the ways of God, which he uses to rule the world. [3: Tryon, D. N. P. (2018). Biblical...
