Concept Brief Week 2
Morgan State University PM Magazine Fall 2024
Client-Approved Concept for the PM Magazine
Magazine Theme "Project Management Unboxed”: Strategies and Insights for
Success Across Industries.
Description: Project management isn't confined to a single approach or industry—it's a dynamic
field that requires adaptability and a deep understanding of diverse strategies. Our theme,
"Project Management Unboxed”, explores the tools, techniques, and methodologies project
managers (and leaders) use to succeed in different environments.
The idea here is to create a magazine that serves as a comprehensive guide, offering valuable
insights from various industries, including technology, legal, IT internal controls, healthcare,
sports apparel, construction, and more. This theme will showcase how project management
practices can be tailored to meet specific challenges in any field by
inging together different
perspectives.
For example, an article might explore the impact of AI in project management, and another may
talk about how Agile methodologies are transforming IT projects, etc. At the same time, another
might delve into how traditional project management techniques are still crucial in construction
engineering.
This content diversity will make the magazine more engaging and useful to a
oader audience,
from students to seasoned professionals. The key selling point is that this theme is flexible and
inclusive, allowing contributors to share their unique experiences and lessons learned.
It emphasizes the adaptability of project management and equips readers with the knowledge
they need to succeed in any environment. This makes the theme both innovative and practical,
which is why it would be an excellent choice for the magazine.
