Exam date and time
Refer to your personal exam timetable for the scheduled date and time of this exam.
The examination duration will be Working time (120 minutes) + additional online
allowance of 30 minutes = TOTAL exam duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
30 minutes additional time has been incorporated in recognition of the online
environment and the different circumstances that students face in their home
environments. This includes allowances for network or connection issues.
Students sitting a set time online end-of-semester examination (i.e. your exam is 180
minutes or less in duration) are given an additional 30 minutes at the end of the specified
exam duration. These additional 30 minutes are provided for the submission and upload
of your completed exam.
This time is not intended as extra working time. If you experience technical difficulties
you may use this time at your own discretion, but you must leave sufficient time to
submit and upload your completed examination.

You have from the start date/time to the end date/time listed in which you must complete
your exam.

You are permitted to refer to the allowed resources for this open book exam, but
you cannot cut-and-paste material other than your own work as answers.

through any other means – about any aspect of this examination during the

If you submit your online end-of-semester exam after the specified exam duration,
including any additional time, the following penalties will be applied to your final
examination score for late submission:
Up to 15 minutes late: 20% penalty
From 15 minutes to less than 30 minutes late: 50% penalty
More than 30 minutes late: 100% penalty
