The Hofstede model has applied the national culture and includes the six dimensions. There are the six cultural dimensions which often uses the independent preferences with respect to the state of affairs with respect to another which would help in distinguishing countries with respect to each other. The following are the six cultural dimensions such as the
1. Power Distance Index (Hofstede, 2015)
2. Individualism Versus Collectivism.
3. Masculinity Versus Femininity.
4. Uncertainty Avoidance Index (high versus low).
5. Pragmatic Versus Normative.
6. Indulgence Versus Restraint.
For this, we have taken two countries which are the Japan & Australia.
Similarity in between the two countries
Both the countries Japan & Australia scores in the same parameter as below-:
Power Distance
While the Australia scores only 36 which is low, Japan is a borderline case of score 55. It is observed that within Australian organizations there is also a need of the hierarchy. The Australian companies have also allowed the convenience and the need for the work, which would allow...
