One vocabulary lesson shared two interesting/unusual/odd places to visit.
Follow these steps to locate an interesting/unusual/odd place you might want to visit.

Click on any number for some places to explore.
OR
On the top bar, click on Find an Adventure.
Use either the drop down box “Destination” or drop down box “Of Interests” for some places to explore. Each destination includes specific sites to see on that tour.
After you have chosen a place to visit, return to Oakton’s Library page to research specific information.
Wikipedia and related types are not acceptable.
Your Research Project will be a summary of the place you have chosen, emphasizing two sites.

RUBRIC Expectations
/10 2 sources. Attach each abstract/citation page.
/10 2 visuals (Attach pictures of the place you have chosen; no citation needed)
/10 Paragraph One (3-4 sentences)
Explains why you chose this “interesting place”
Mentions two sites to visit.
/10 Paragraph Two (5-7 sentences)
Discusses the first site.
/10 Paragraph Three (5-7 sentences)
Discusses the second site.
/10 Mechanics of Spelling, Grammar, and Punctuation.
Typed double spaced. 12 or 14 point font. Everything stapled together;
do not attach this page. Your name in the upper RIGHT corner.

I want to visit the country of Brazil because my interest was raised during the 2016 summer Olympic Games. Also, a friend had gone there two years ago and his experiences and pictures were amazing. First I want to visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Rio de Janeiro. The second site to visit is where the Solimoes River meets the Rio Negro as this is the starting point for the Amazon River.
