I. Course Description: This course addresses health alterations and resulting manifestations, physical and diagnostic findings in the human body. Appropriate health care strategies are included.

1. Compare differences between physiological functioning and pathophysiological processes in systems of the human body.
2. Differentiate manifestations associated with health alterations as they relate to the underlying pathophysiology.
3. Correlate diagnostic studies to pathophysiology.
4. Integrate knowledge of pathophysiological concepts in health care to improve outcomes.
