• This individual assessment has been prescribed to appraise your ability to academically research
and discuss the history, influencers, paradigms and customer expectations of the Resort and Spa

• You are expected to not only present the positives in each of these areas, but also to identify
concerns and criticism regarding them
• Successful completion of this assessment will help you to further understand the Resorts and
Spa sector and its effective management. It will also help you to maintain cu

choice (remembering that you will need to do scholarly research, so there should be
academic research in the databases on this sector within your chosen country):

Your submission will be assessed via the Turnitin submission point and feedback and a grade will be
provided within a maximum of two weeks of the submission deadline.

eading. A minimum six (6) academic (scholarly books and peer-reviewed journal articles)
and four (4) other sources (newspaper articles, trade publications, websites, etc.) must be
used. These should be referenced in the APA style, both in-text and in a reference list.
References to ‘Wikipedia’ or similar unsubstantiated sources will not be accepted.
