The topic selected is the gun issue in America. According to the article it was observed that around 74% of the American, male owns gun of which 48% of them utilize the gun for protection and 32% for hunting. However, in my opinion, in spite of the presence of laws for gun control, often owning a gun leads to crimes that can be intentional or unintentional. It is important that the laws are more stringent with a strict background checks for the gun owner.

The three premises, which have been portrayed in the ProCon website related to the negative impact of owning gun includes lack of adequate background checks of the gun owner, increase in the number of deaths due to gun possession and increase in the infringements in the gun control laws.
