Assessment 1 – 80% (Submission deadline 24th Nov 2021)
You are expected to submit an Individual portfolio which includes, evidence of completing
five LinkedIn Learning modules and provide 1000 – 1200 words summary of the 5 modules.
This should be submitted along with the evidence of completion which can be obtained by
downloading certificate or a print screen of your certificate of completion clearly
showing your name. (Ensure that you sign in with your UEL student details).

Your submission should be one single document which contains, evidence of completion of
each LinkedIn learning module and a XXXXXXXXXXword summary (Approximately 250 words
per module) demonstrating key learning from taking the module and how the skill can give
you competitive advantage in your career or make you more employable.

2. Once you complete the module, please download the certificate and take a print
screen of it for submission with the XXXXXXXXXXwords summary for all 5 modules.
3. You are to write approximately 250 words per learning module.
Reflective report (1000 – 1200 words maximum) No additional 10%
Assessment 2: 20% (Submission 7th Jan 2022 @4pm)
Write a reflective report XXXXXXXXXXwords maximum) based on specific job description
(screenshot to be added as appendix) demonstrating how your newly acquired knowledge
and skills from taking the Mental Wealth module prepares you as an ideal candidate for the
identified job role. Your reflection should include reflection on relevance of skills modules
taken for the first assessment (e.g. Evidence of self-awareness, managing relationships,
personal resilience, critical thinking, teamwork, emotional intelligence and taking charge of
your career) and importance of wellbeing interventions in managing your career.
You are to complete the following modules on LinkedIn Learning as part of preparation for
the second assignment:
Leveraging Your Transferable Skills to Drive Your Career (20 Mins)
Building Resilience (34mins)
Managing your emotions at work (50 mins)
You should address all of the following points in your reflective report;
1. Identify a job role, job advert and job description (include in appendix)
2. Reflect on how your newly acquired skill could give you an employability advantage
3. Show linkage between skills & competences required for the future role and cu

4. Reflect on how you would leverage the wellbeing interventions and your newly
acquired skills / competencies to position yourself for future career opportunities.

Re-sit Information

When a student is required to re-sit any of the assessment components, the
student should:
1) Re-sit Component 1 – Individual Skills portfolio
a. You have submitted at the first opportunity but failed: The students
should use the provided feedback for the first submission and
complete the task again by improving their first submission. The
time/day of the presentations - TBC
. You have not submitted at the first opportunity: in this case you
have to complete the task for Component 1 (please see above).

Feedback and Return of Work
You will receive detailed feedback on your submitted work via Turnitin and Grade
mark. Feedback on your assessment will be provided no later than 10 working
days after the submission date.

Pass Mark
The pass mark for a module at Undergraduate level is 40%. In order to pass HR
5040, you must score a minimum of 40% in the assessment. If you do not
achieve 40%, you will have the opportunity to re-sit. The submission date for
esits will be confirmed and communicated to you later in the academic year.
In order to pass a module on reassessment, you need to achieve a mark of 40%.
If the module is passed, the module mark is capped at 40% for the purposes of
calculating the degree Award classification (see the relevant Programme
Handbook). However, the actual mark achieved is recorded on the student
transcript.
If you fail the module on reassessment, you are entitled to repeat the module
once. However, you must attend lectures and seminars again, and you will have
to pay fees. The module mark will be capped for the purposes of calculating the
degree Award classification.
Extenuating Circumstances
There are no extensions to deadlines: If you are having problems with
meeting a deadline and have been seriously affected by one of the problems
outlined below, you might be able to claim ‘extenuation’. Extenuating
circumstances are those which:
❖ Impair the performance of a student in assessment or reassessment
❖ Prevent a student from attending for assessment or reassessment.
❖ Prevent a student from submitting assessed or reassessed work by the
