Talk about research design
Convenience sampling techniques were used to assist in the collection of data. Respondents were chosen based on their convenience and availability. This sampling technique provides limitations to the study such as limiting responses to Western Australia only. However, the convenience sampling technique is justified by the time and resource constraints of the study.
In this presentation we will report on the results of our research and analyse the findings. We look at motivation to buy and what aspect of ethical sourcing most encourages people’s purchasing decisions. A discussion of the analysis with reference to the current literature is also encompassed, focusing on both current literature that has been highlighted during our own study and any gaps in the literature that has now been addressed. Lastly, we will provide suggestions of our recommendations for our client, ShopHere. These suggestions include improving the competitive advantage of pricing and design, a focus on “ethical treatment of producers” when labelling products, and also how the product is improving the producers life, to make consumers aware and more inclined to buy.
